Selling in shops?
Retailers require EAN/UPC numbers issued to your company by GS1 (for example GS1 Pakistan). You can draw any valid number here, but only GS1-assigned numbers are accepted by supermarkets.

Why is my EAN-13 invalid?
The 13th digit is a check digit. Enter 12 digits and it is calculated for you, or check the full 13 digits are correct.
Which format is best for printing?
SVG, because it stays sharp at any size. Print with enough white space (quiet zone) on each side.
