Add two or more PDF files, put them in the right order with the arrow buttons, and download a single merged PDF. Pages keep their original quality, links and text, and nothing is uploaded to a server.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Click Choose PDF files and select all the PDFs you want to combine (or drag them in).
  2. Use ↑ and ↓ to set the order. The first file’s pages come first.
  3. Press Merge PDFs. The combined file downloads as merged.pdf.

Merging without losing quality

The merge copies the original page objects (text, fonts, vector graphics and images) from each PDF into a new file. Nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed, so the merged PDF looks exactly like the originals and text stays searchable.

Common uses

  • Combining scanned pages of a form or application into one file.
  • Putting a cover letter, CV and certificates into a single attachment.
  • Joining monthly statements or invoices for accounting.

Need to reorder or delete individual pages afterwards? Use Organize PDF. Need it smaller for email? Run it through Compress PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How many PDFs can I merge?

There is no fixed limit. Dozens of normal documents merge in seconds; very large files depend on your device’s memory.

Can I merge PDFs on my phone?

Yes. It works in Chrome and Safari on Android and iPhone.

Can I merge images and PDFs together?

Convert the images with JPG to PDF first, then merge the resulting PDF with your other files.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

No. Remove the password first by opening the PDF in your reader and saving or printing an unprotected copy.

Are my PDF files safe?

Yes. The PDF is read and written by JavaScript libraries (pdf-lib and Mozilla pdf.js) inside your browser. The file is never uploaded, so confidential contracts, bank statements and ID scans stay on your device.
