What does this tool do?

Checks your English text for grammar, spelling and punctuation issues — underlining problems and suggesting fixes you apply with a click. Works on essays, emails, CVs and posts, entirely in the browser.

Beyond the headline figure, the supporting stats (averages, distributions, breakdowns) answer the follow-up questions writers actually ask — “how long will this take to read?”, “which words am I overusing?” — without a second tool.

The interface keeps things practical: the inputs are “Language” and “Your text”; the “lang” control offers “English (US)”, “English (UK)”, “English (Australia)”, “English (Canada)”, “Detect automatically”, “German”, “French” and “Spanish” and more; “Check grammar” runs the tool; “Copy text” grabs the result for pasting elsewhere. Results update live as you work — there is no waiting and nothing to submit.

How do I use this tool?

Type or paste your text below; every figure updates live with each keystroke, so there is no “analyse” button to press.

  1. Enter your values in “Language”, “Your text”.
  2. Click “Check grammar” to run the tool and see the result.
  3. Use “Copy text” to grab the result for pasting elsewhere.

How does it work?

A language-processing engine analyses the text against grammar rules, common error patterns and a spelling dictionary, ranking suggestions by confidence. It checks mechanics — it does not rewrite style or verify facts.

Counting and transformation follow Unicode rules, not byte rules — so Urdu text, emoji and mixed scripts are handled correctly where naive counters miscount. The algorithms are the standard ones for each task, applied transparently.

Use cases in Pakistan

Students proofread BISE essays and university assignments; job seekers polish CVs and cover letters; freelancers check client deliverables; and CSS aspirants practise precise English. It catches the errors spellcheck misses (their/there, verb agreement).

In a country where students write assignments in English as a second language and professionals draft client communication daily, a fast private text tool is a quiet productivity multiplier — catching the small errors that undermine otherwise good work.

Limitations

It checks grammar, not truth, logic or style — and it can be wrong on idioms, technical terms and creative writing. Urdu text is not checked. For critical documents (theses, legal), a human proofreader still wins.

Automated analysis is literal-minded: it counts what is there, not what you meant. Human judgment — a re-read, a second pair of eyes — remains the final quality control for anything important.

Frequently asked questions

Is it better than spellcheck?

Yes — it checks grammar and context (their/there/they’re), not just spelling. For important documents, run the check, fix issues, then run it once more — the second pass catches what the first round of edits introduced.

Can it check Urdu?

No — English only. Urdu text passes through unchecked. Remember the tool counts what is there: a final human read-through remains the best quality control for anything that represents you.

Should I accept every suggestion?

No. Suggestions are usually right but can misread idioms and technical terms — review each one. If results surprise you, check for hidden characters or unusual whitespace — pasted text often carries invisible formatting.

Is my text uploaded?

No — checking runs in your browser; your writing never leaves the device. For important documents, run the check, fix issues, then run it once more — the second pass catches what the first round of edits introduced.

Is my data uploaded or stored?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser — what you type or paste never leaves your device, is never sent to a server, and is never stored. Closing the tab removes all trace. Remember the tool counts what is there: a final human read-through remains the best quality control for anything that represents you.

Is it really free? Do I need an account?

Yes, free, and no account needed. Open the page and use it — no sign-up, no trial, no watermark on results. If results surprise you, check for hidden characters or unusual whitespace — pasted text often carries invisible formatting.
