This converter turns WebP images, the format many websites serve, into standard JPG files that work in older apps, Windows Photo Viewer, print shops and upload forms.
How to convert WebP to JPG
- Click Choose WebP files or drag your images onto the box. You can add many at once.
- Each image is converted to JPG straight away using the quality you set.
- Press Download next to a file, or Download all as ZIP to save every JPG together.
Why do downloaded images save as WebP?
Most large websites deliver images as WebP because the files are 25–35% smaller than JPG. When you right-click and save, you get the WebP file, which some older software and upload forms still reject. Converting to JPG solves that.
Frequently asked questions
Is WebP better than JPG?
For websites, yes: WebP is smaller at the same quality. For sharing with people or older software, JPG is more compatible.
Can I keep transparency?
JPG cannot store transparency. Use WebP to PNG if your image has a transparent background.
