Mid-market vs bank rates
These are mid-market rates: the midpoint between buying and selling prices on global markets. Banks, money changers and card companies add a margin, so the rate you actually get will be somewhat worse, especially for cash.
Sending money to Pakistan
When receiving remittances, compare the total PKR received after fees and exchange margin across providers rather than the headline rate. Registered banking channels may also qualify for government remittance incentives.
