Rules
- Add/subtract: use a common denominator: 1/2 + 1/3 = 3/6 + 2/6 = 5/6.
- Multiply: multiply tops and bottoms: 2/3 × 3/4 = 6/12 = 1/2.
- Divide: multiply by the reciprocal: 1/2 ÷ 1/4 = 1/2 × 4/1 = 2.
