How to record your voice online

File format
Chrome, Edge and Firefox save Opus audio in a .webm file, which plays in browsers, VLC and most modern players and is very small. Safari saves .m4a (AAC). To get MP3, convert the file with any audio converter.
Better recordings
Use a headset or external mic, record in a small room with soft furnishings, keep the mic a hand-width from your mouth, and do a short test take first. Check levels with the mic test.
