Inspect the dry run before changing data
Run the generated command from the intended WordPress installation after a verified database backup. WP-CLI understands serialized data, unlike a blind SQL text replacement. The generated command always includes --dry-run and --skip-columns=guid. Review the affected tables and counts before deciding whether a real replacement is appropriate.
What this tool does not do
This tool generates a POSIX shell command and never connects to your server. All prefixed tables may include plugin or shared data outside the current site; confirm that scope first. Multisite, domain mapping and network migrations require separate planning. The output intentionally does not perform a live replacement.
